If you want a truer sense of the flavor, picture mashing a box of Froot Loops up into dusty grains and pouring said grains into a bag of salty Doritos. Doesn’t sound appetizing? Well, good, because these are decidedly repulsive, eaten more for the thrill of knowing that you’re eating something inherently wrong than for, I dunno, underscoring network television with the steady crunching sounds of Dorito chewing. While I concede that the initial flavor shock quickly wears off and they end up being only a minor offense to society at large, I can’t say that “The Quest” Doritos are any good.

I don’t know what made me think of this today. It’s a prank from 2004 involving someone who works/worked at Starbucks’s corporate office.

YES!!!! Only 3 more years. The final straw for me with Alicia Keyes was when she did that duet with John Mayer at the Grammys. That was like two forces of evil joining together.
I'm a big girl now.
I just sent in my registration for a software conference in Lake Tahoe this October. My boss asked me to go. This will be my first “business trip” all by myself. Well all by myself from the company. I’m hoping Tom and I can coordinate so we can spend a few days out there for a little post-conference leisure. Wee!!!

Candidates for the potential sequel, Kid Nation 2, were required to submit a written application and a three-minute video. We went for a 5 mile hike in the Shenandoah National Park yesterday. The following things happened:
- we walked. A lot.
- we may have gotten a little off track.
- we saw 6 bears (not all at once)
- we got a ride in the back of a pickup truck to our car.
- we got rained on.
It was a super fun day. I love the outdoors!
